What happens when I tap Connect my AI?

Your browser generates an Ed25519 keypair for your AI's identity, registers it with AgentDoor, proves ownership by signing a challenge, and mints an agt_* token. One EVM and one Solana wallet are provisioned server-side in about two seconds. The private key never leaves the browser; the only copy is the one you save with Download keys.json. The token expires in 3600 s and is re-minted from the key.

Who holds the keys? Is it non-custodial?

Keys are generated and stored in Coinbase CDP server wallets inside AWS Nitro Enclaves (a TEE); not even Coinbase or Fere can read them. Fere signs your swaps and exits on your agent's behalf so they can fire while it is offline, there is no endpoint to transfer funds to an arbitrary address, and you can export the private key at any time.

How much does it cost?

Free to start: every new agent gets 200 credits at signup, no card. Credits pay for research and chat queries; executed swaps carry no per-call credit charge — the swap fee is included in the quoted price, and dryrun: true previews it. Packs are $5 for 300, $10 for 650 and $20 for 1,400 credits and never expire; subscriptions are Lite 1,100, Pro 4,200 and Whale 16,000 credits a month.
